  The food is still good, but not great like it used to be. A bit on the pricey side. That being said, they do have the best German pancake around. If you have the option to have Jesus as your waiter, go for it. He's efficient, polite, and everything a waiter should be.

  An upscale place for breakfast and lunch. I love their crepes, and eggs, and pancakes, and omelets! My husband enjoys the crepes. Last visit I had Chicken and Waffles and my husband tried their Gravy and biscuits (both Specials for Valentines Day). Never had Chicken and Waffles before and I am so glad I had them here. I knew they would do it right...for me. The chicken had a crunchy crust with a bit of cinnamon and honey added. Yum. Could be addictive. My husband said there was a bit too much of the bready biscuits and not enough gravy. The dish came with 3 perfect sunny side up eggs. He is a gravy and sweets person though. He usually has their crepes with fruit sauces/fillings and loves every bite. Lots of food, we usually bring half the servings home for a second breakfast. (I believe that Richard Walker is a relative of the owners of the Walker's Pancake House chain. He moved on to open his own, but nearly identical restaurant model. The interior is dark woods, stain glass, a wonderful stone fireplace is in the center of the main dining area.) Lots of booths and tables. Very handsome restaurant. Very busy on Saturday and Sunday but there is a small waiting area. Good, efficient service.

  I like restaurants that act like restaurants. You know what I mean by that? I mean delicious wholesome food, big portions and fast service at a great price. That's what I think makes a great restaurant and Richard Walker's understands that. They just get it. I go every once in awhile for breakfast and order the Country Fried Chicken. You get a big slab of crispy chicken, swimming in flavorful gravy, mountains of scrambled eggs, hash browns and the choice of either pancakes or toast. See? Look at the picture. That's a lot of food. Richard Walker's knows how to be a restaurant. They just get it.
