  This is by far the best breakfast in McHenry Co. When I have out of town guests I always bring them here. They offer traditional breakfasts and also have meals that include ingredients you WOULD NOT FIND ANYWHERE ELSE! Everything I have ever had is delicious and the service has ALWAYS been great. If you go on a weekend expect a wait, but trust me it is well worth it! There is no where else that offers the choices they have. It's all home make and cooked to order. My whole family love going. Even my very young children beg me to take them to "the chicken restaraunt". (They call it that because of its country but still somehow modern decor that is filled with chicken pictures and statues). This is my absolute favorite place and I am a "foodie" and a good home cook. I don't like going to places that don't offer stuff I could make at home cheaper. So although it isnt the cheapest place it is still EXTREMELY reasonably prices. I love the fresh squeezed lemonade flavors. The one and only complaint I have is that they could improve their Bloody Mary's ;-)

  Food is very good here, but the water and tea is TERRIBLE!! They use too much sanitizer or something that make it taste like peroxide. The waitress tried to blame it on crystal lake water, but the Starbucks around the corner is fine.
